When I read @El Presidente's statement about that nudie lancero being of the best lanceros in the World, I told to myself "Wow that's a bold statement" and since then I've been really wanting to put my hands on a few of those, not much convinced tbh. Man, was I wrong...

Incredible smoke from start to finish, I genuinely believe I wouldn't have guessed it was a NC. It's rich, it's sweet with lots of character, amazing 👍

One downside though, it smoked really fast (around 70mn), despite me being a really slow smoker (a lancero usually takes me 100+mn to smoke). Still, wonderful experience 😍

I love these maduro 2021s too. The cocoa sweetness is a delicious note, and it’s not cloying or excessive. There’s a gentle balancing savoury spice, and the long format behaves well all the way down. Here’s me at the tiller smoking one last week:
