If I played golf regularly I would probably opt for something else less gimmicky. However, I can see some 'upside' in the way it's designed.

First bump that cart takes and the cigar is on the ground or in your lap.  Stage V Clinger is my favorite and it's got a great name.

Terrible. Rest it on your bag or cart like normal people. Or just keep the cigar in your mouth and take the shot.

I considered buying it (reviews are pretty good from what I've seen), but went with this instead:

It's cheap on amazon, has multi uses (divot tool, ball marker) and has a strong magnet so you keep it on the cart or stick it in the ground.

Couldn’t agree more. I see no use for a cigar holder while on the course and no issue with resting it on cart, bag, ground, etc. Wouldn’t ever buy this.
