Innovative Cigar Packaging

El Pres habitually posts up threads of old, decorative Cuban cigar boxes on our forum. I guess such a thing was necessary pre-Revolution (i.e. 1959-62) to stand out from the competition, as there was a larger number of marcas in the market in comparison to today.

In much the same way, the Non-Cuban cigar market is quite diverse today and there a number of manufacturers each vying to catch the consumer's eye, so-to-speak. Sometimes, packaging can be innovative and sometimes...well, it can turn out amiss. Anyway, General Cigar's Father's Day releases have been quite innovative, in my view. Really clever. Halfwheel posted up a review of the Punch Dad's home Movies cigar and yes, it caught my attention. They even referenced the Punch Dad Bod. Really clever. Have a look below:

So, as you can see, whether you like the packaging or not, it does stand out. Can you think of other examples of cigar packaging that was either innovative and or even, perhaps...amiss?
