Gabby Thomas. I love her running form. She's worked her way to the top. She wasn't even a track star in high school. She went to Harvard based on her academics and picked up track as an undergrad. She's earned everything she has and she'll be back for more.

I would second everything you just said. She's also absolutely gorgeous, and has a very endearing way about her.

A second second. Any track and field star graduating with a neurobiology degree from Harvard is mighty fine by me. She's got a Masters degree in public health to boot. A woman of many great accomplishments.

Teddy Riner. If you didn’t watch the Judo individual and mixed team finals…it’s worth it.

I haven't seen a minute of the OG but really wanted to see the judo and Riner. Hope to catch up at some point.

What a beast 😅

I've seen him once at the gym, it's hard to believe how huge he is!

A friend of mine was a personal trainer in a gym in Paris 10 years ago and Teddy used to train there at the time. His shoulders were so broad he had to come through the entrance doors sideways 🤯

This guy is insane, he could be a top 5 edge rusher in the NFL.

This was definitely Australia being eccentric and cheeky. No way that's their best break dancer. I was watching that, and was like, "let's not go to Australia after all, t'is a silly place!"

i have not seen it and apparently rather bizarre but i gather she won the regionals or whatever to make it. i doubt more than 1% of the population knew it was in the Olympics or that it was now apparently called breaking. by all things holy to the divinity of the dancing wombats, what the hell is it doing in the Olympics? i see already gone from the next one. but hey, she competed in the Olympics. more than most of us can say. one photo really did remind me of the ministry of silly walks.

but i did love the meme thing which had her and snoopy dog with the caption something like "the superstar of the Paris Olympics and snoopy dog".

She has a PhD in break dancing gender culture or something. Is 36 years old and her signature move was hopping around ... Like a roo, ya know. So .... Modern.

I met Snoopy dogg in 96 at a truck stop in Connecticut in the 90s after a lollapalooza. He was surrounded people in blue with burn marks in their neck. Snoopy dogg told his body guards to stand down so he could shake my hand and sign my shirt. He then told me the raiders were going win the Superbowl, I laughed. He's a wholesome dude and loves his fans. I love snoopy dogg.

Lots of greatness. I caught the last part of the women’s basketball gold medal match. Great victory for the USA. Bad loss for France. Hats off to every athlete in that game. What a finish.
