Marco_011t556
Interesting game! I suggest listing the production year as well, coz cigars dehydrate after a few years. But for sure we are testing extreme cases with dehydration not a considering factor, LOL!
Popular Post Li Bai
Actually I weigh my cigars almost every time before lighting them up, I never measure them though. I recall a box of BRC that went from 10,4g to 14,5g. Although it's not a perfect tool, to me it's one of the most effective ways to predict the quality of the draw. Having played that game a lot, I can sense by the weight in my hand which singles to pick when at a B&M with decent accuracy. 👍 I'll pick a box later and play with you guys. 8
Popular Post Li Bai
Alright... So, an Epi 2 50 cab EBO MAR 20. In length, the 27 remaining cigars are all 124mm (+/- 0.5 mm). 9 are 13g or above, 1 is 10.9-11g and all the remaining are between 11.1 and 12.5g. Here's our heavyweight: And at the other end: Amazing box by the way 😍😍😍 9

Popular Post cigaraholic
VR Famosos RAG SEP19 A pretty nicely filled box, with 9.6g at the bottom and 13.3g at the top. Most are between 10.7g and 12.0g. My preference is always for well filled cigars, I don’t have a Tinker Bell draw🧚♀️ As long as there aren’t 2 or 3 ridiculously under filled sticks in a box I’m happy. 16
joeypots
I was wondering how long it would take for a Hermosos #4 to show up. Close enough to be widely considered a Robusto, technically it’s a different vitola.

gormag38
Man I have some CoRos in 5X3 from a reputable grey market source that would have some insane weights/RG differences. I swear some are closer to a corona size than robusto. Just don't have the balance to get weights, but if I track one down I will certainly share. Popular Post cigaraholic
UMR JUN21 Thought I should do a robusto instead of a Hermosos #4…they all look alike to me. I don’t have many boxes of robustos because it’s my least favorite size, they just burn hot for my mouth, even though no one I know would say I have a little mouth. But when our host starts raving about a certain cigar he usually hooks me. I haven’t tried one yet but it is a very well filled box of cigars, only 2 dogs. From 9.7g - 14.1g another box I’d take any day.

Popular Post zeedubbya
I weighed cigars from 3 boxes and 2 from singles drawer. D4 AMO NOV15 (El Laguito D4), CORO ULA JUN14, Unk year RASS, 2008 CORO (Euro aging program), and one tubo CORO from AMO OCT16. Here’s the pics of each sample and the results. What a wild variance, interesting the El Laguito D4 were close but the El Laguito CORO TUBOS (one of the most beautiful wrappers I’ve ever seen on ANY cigar) was heavier and the aged CORO heavier still. 🙄 12.7 12.5 10.7, 9.6, 10.4, 11.2, 13.1, 11.4, 10.9 10.4, 11.1, 11.6, 11.6, 10.7 14.8 !!!

zeedubbya
@JohnInCleveland guilty as charged, ass-kissing has had the effect of getting me on some REALLY nice golf courses 👀 🤣 Also, open up that humidor of yours and look at those Bushidos and SLRDC…near 10 years gone by and I can still taste recall the saltiness of @El Presidente’s. [CIGARS] you sickos! Yeesh!

[CIGARS] you sickos! Yeesh! Man, those were different times. If you would’ve told me the least stupid thing I did in my early 30’s was to buy a lot of cigars before I had kids with the intention of aging them, I’d have called you crazy. Now, only a select few have any chance of being replaced when they’re smoked. On the bright side, I’ve made some pretty great friends to join me in burning em while we still can.
