London and Limassol calling.

I will be jetting into London Saturday the 14th of September and out to Dortmund on the 18th before heading to Limassol Cyprus on the 21st where I will remain until the 25th. Then Singapore for a few days and home. 

So London! 

I have a small event on the Tuesday for BR members but am keen to get something together for FOH'ers on the Saturday evening (cigar) /Sunday (lunch?)/Monday . Let's see what can be done. 

Cyprus!  In Limassol we have a cocktail dinner on the Sunday for BR members and I will squeeze in our FOH'ers as I think we have room. the new BR 109 will be launched. It will be a great night!

Let's put a few things together for London and Limassol

I spent a few day in Limassol back in 2008 on the way back from a deployment. It was a total shit show. I got drunk and got a tattoo in a shop shady enough I got tested for disease when I got home. The dog that was taking a shit on the shop floor shoulda been a clue not to get tattooed there, but Raki does weird things to the brain. I remember after that we excitedly stumbled into a strip bar, but all the strippers were sitting in perv row watching one of the guys from the ship do a pole dance. Didn’t stick around to see how that turned out and went off in search of some ouzo to balance out the Raki! 🤣

Excellent. I am at the Stafford (across from JJFox) so barring any lunchtime event, we will likely have a catchup drink there.

Sounds like a great trip! I've just been approved to attend some work meetings in Eckernforde, Germany, the week of 23-27 Sept. I fly to Hamburg on 19/20 Sept and spend the weekend there before the meetings. Looks like i'd just miss you time-wise in London, otherwise i'd arrange a stopover there!

Happy to catch up with all FOH members be it Saturday evening/Sunday/Monday for a cigar and a tipple. We will circle back around end of next week to lock in some time windows and locations. Locations in central "ish" London being the hardest part of the exercise. Londoners, PM me over the coming days with options and I will throw them in the mix.

OK reinvigorating this thread. There's only a few of the FoH UK crew around over the weekend. I am around Sunday, after work Monday and still waiting to see how soon I can duck out Tuesday.

I've suggested The Melody Whisky Bar in case thats interesting. Big, nice outside space. Weather is always a gamble.... looks ok so far.

Boisdales near Victoria? Nicely covered up.
