MoeFOH Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I now have a new top answer if anyone asks me about regrets in my life... marriages, et al, take a back seat lol . $125k lifetime!! That's nuts.
MrBirdman Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 American Airlines has actually assigned staff to scrutinizing the travel and activities of people who bought these passes looking for excuses to cancel them. The amazing thing is under the term of the pass you even get frequent flyer miles. In 2007, during a period of financial instability for the airline, American Airlines assigned a "revenue integrity unit" to investigate AAirpass holders. The airline's investigators concluded that two AAirpass holders, Steven Rothstein and Jacques Vroom, were costing the airline more than $1 million annually. Both had their passes cancelled for “fraudulent use” (which in one case meant befriending strangers at the airport and upgrading them to first class as a companion). Stay classy AA! 2
HDGSN Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Tom Stuker did this with United. Just hit 24M miles. https://onemileatatime.com/news/tom-stuker-united-airlines/ 1
