Cohiba Siglo VI Gran Reserva 2003 I think I paid retail $110 USD equivalent while in HK at the time. Worth every cent as it is still one of the finest cigars that I have every smoked.

The Padrón 50th Anniversary. Paid $45 USD and would not hesitate to purchase more. This coming from someone who mostly smokes Cuban cigars.

$72 Bushido. I think I’ve got the bottom row remaining. Fantastic cigar. Mahalo to an FOHer for turning me on to them. 😁

2 that come to mind for me:

1.Diplomatico Bushido

2. RyJ Duke

Diplomaticos Bushido. Worth every penny! 👍

That is a cigar I wish I had a time machine to go get. I found this forum a few months too late and missed out on them. I've been priced out of the secondary market on them ever since. I would have loved to have gotten a box when they were released to have as a special occasion cigar. Everything about it seems well done from size to packaging. Plus, I've yet to hear anyone say it is overrated flavorwise. Maybe someone will put up a partial box of 3 cigars on BR at some point, then I MIGHT have a shot, maybe.🤣🤷‍♂️

Can't even remember the cigar - but was in Vegas years ago and we decided to celebrate with some $100 NCs that were not good and we barely smoked.

Managed to score a couple Punch ManTuas a few years back for $26 each and they are worth every penny of that. Honestly, I’d probably happily pay double.

Here is my problem with this question, at this point, I am currently smoking the new Oneoff Black by Illusione. It is fantastic! Complex, balanced and performing well with leather, nuts, earth, a beautiful sweetness I can't quite pinpoint, creamy smoke texture, long burn for a robusto at a $16 price point. What am I looking to get out of a cigar with 6x the price point that could possibly make it worth it? I can't even quantify what 6x this experience would even be. The Bushido is the only $100+ cigar I would consider trying to pick up, and it would be saved to punctuate an epic moment in my life.

One cigar I forgot to mention in my earlier comment was the Modicum, made for The French Laundry. I'm guessing it is probably the most expensive cigar I've smoked but I still don't know the price point, but it is a top 3 experience for me. I would be comfortable paying $50-$60 for it as a special occasion smoke to cap off an epic dinner at TFL. I don't see how anything can be worth 2x that experience.🤷‍♂️ I don't even think I could pay $100 for the Modicum.

I think Pmo13 stated the point well here -- no matter what the highest price is for a cigar we've thoroughly and completely enjoyed, where do those lines cross at the highest point for each of us?  I have smoked cigars more expensive than the price of my favorite $30 Siglo III, but none that I enjoyed as much as that one.  I'd pay the current market rate in Canada for a box of them.

Probably CoLa pre-2022. I’ve smoked many cigars retailing over $60 (at least now) and don’t really think any of them are worth the money. If every CoLa was at the top of its game then I’d say they are, but as an abstract good then no. I suspect if I’d tried a CGR I’d be on board with the release price, based on reviews. Of course now they’re overaged and the price is asinine.

One exception might be the Davidoff Anniversario 1 LE - it’s $65 but it’s also massive. Sensational.

All of this is a matter of perspective though. I love cigars, but for me the best experiences are always about the people, and can’t be bought.

Also had the Davidoff Anniversario 1 LTE a few weeks back. Phenomenal. Only the cost stops me from buying a few boxes.

Wasn’t really “expensive” at the time, but certainly would be by today standards. I went deep on Trinidad Robusto Ts (not deep enough), and also nabbed a couple boxes of OG 2010 BHK 54s from our fine hosts here  - both of these were $25-30 cigars when originally purchased and by damn they were worth every cent of that & then some.

I miss the S outta those ‘good Ol’ days’!

A 2020 BHK 52 $87 from our host. First Behike that I have had and was ready to beat the hell out of it for not being worth the price. Was completely wrong.

I still have 9 sticks of the original release from 2015. They have aged well.

I am currently smoking an Opus X Forbidden that I paid 85$US while in Miami last week. It’s an excellent cigar, by far the best NC I’ve had over the years but still not as good as a CC so for me I can’t say it’s worth the money.

Vegas Robaina Jubilaums 5th Ave 15th anniversary.  I was fortunate enough to have two singles gifted to me that were up there with the very best cigars I have ever had. After years of trying to hunt down a box I finally found one at auction and paid dearly. Pure bliss, everything I look for in a special occasion cigar.

Lusitania gran réserva cosecha 2007 acheté 37,00€ , je me souviens qu'à l'époque j'ai beaucoup hésité avant de céder, et aujourd'hui je paye le même prix pour un Lusitania classique sans même réfléchir 😡
