I am a lover of marketing angles as you know. This one is out there. :lol3:

 

 

Henry Deringer was an accomplished gunsmith, known for his pocketable handgun The Philadelphia Derringer which was used in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. This gift set offers two replicas of the infamous handgun, here filled with small batch bourbon — 200ml each — instead of gunpowder and lead. My father has one of these if you like toys. 😁 I think it’s still full too.

Bourbon has been offered in various commemorative bottles for a long time now.  But this is the first to apparently commemorate the assassination of one of the greatest American presidents and heroes in our nation's history.

This seems more fitting as a marketing tool:
