WHAT AGE HAS A VINTAGE CUBAN CIGAR

Recommended Posts

For many years, you could grab old/aged boxes in Havana and NOT pay any premium for it. If anything, they seemed to be glad they sold. Perhaps, the shopkeepers had a different perspective. Boxes with older codes that sat, were deemed to be sales duds perhaps? It looks like the days of finding vintage at list price is over.  😐

I like that list. I'd suggest that "Historical" should be 100+ years. Cigars that old almost seem like a crime to smoke. Maybe just preserve as a relic?

According to Ana Lopez from Hunters & Frankau,10 years and over is considered Vintage.

Should meet half way at 15 years & older.

I’m gonna start telling my wife she qualifies as historical! 😉

Tell her we’re willing to pay top dollar for all of your cigars that she doesn’t send thru a cycle in the washing machine. 😳

Nah, cigars are safe. She’d go for the car or watches first. 😂
