I didn’t take Friday off but due to the nature of my role, my work will be virtually nothing. I also work remotely so I’ll be lounging back getting paid!

My plans include spending cherished time with close friends, watching others blow their cash on colorful explosions, all while feasting on some smoked chicken tacos.

The amusing thing about fireworks is they go boom in the sky… where all, myself included, can see… without paying anything! Nothing beats a jolly free show :D

Pretty low key, walking the dog then, some surf and turf - whole snapper and ribs on the grill (hopefully rains holds off). Off on Fri. Sure wife will have a small list for me.

Off this week and next so just relaxing and finishing some engine/trans work on my car. The 4th is usually a big deal as a family member owns a business and invites many of the customers/friends he has been serving for 15+yrs plus the entire extended family. Always have a large firework show but we are kicking it up a notch this year with electronic fuses preprogrammed. Hit one button on my phone and enjoy a 12-15min firework show. Homemade family limoncello recipe, fireworks, BBQ, friends/family and cigars, it doesn't get much better. Cigars on the 4th are plentiful but I keep them to regular production as there is to much going on to truly enjoy and take in the smoke. I do have an 16' Espi for tonight and for Friday a 22' Churchill which are ridiculously good for being so fresh. On a more depressing note, this will be the first year I don't put out the selection of CC that I normally would to offer to guests.

Rob, you should know already-we will shoot guns from our pick up trucks while blaring Taylor Swift 🤪  (Sounds kinda fun actually ngl. ) No seriously, I didn't take Friday off since I have some upcoming travel (family vacation) planned end of July into August looking forward.

We are def grilling, doing swimming pool w/ the kiddos, the firepit, actually have some fireworks (shh!), family, friends/neighbors. We go full American for fourth of July -  hot dogs, cheese burgers, corn, pasta salad, only curveball is some shrimp, scallion, and pineapple on the grill. Definitely some CCs...I will probably do RG Perlas or Partagas Serie D No. 6  during the day and a pyramid at night to smoke and light fireworks with - weather should be decent here, nice and warm but a little cloudy - no rain though.

🎏🎆 Thanks for asking

This week is the official kick off into high season on Olde Cape Cod. I’ll work but there’ll be time for some BBQ and a cigar or two.

Glad I'm not the only one, but we don't have crap planned.  Wife has 4 day weekend and I am closing my office on Friday as well to at least give my staff a long weekend. If we don't come up with something to do I guess I'll end up in the office Friday. Heading to the WV mountains next weekend for another 3 day weekend. But this one, nada.

A lot of eating and drinking with some cigars thrown in, IF,  the heat index stays below 100°.

For the fourth we are doing pulled pork tacos with all the fixins and some nice craft brews to accompany them. Friday leftover pork will be used for a Cuban rice bowl with plantains and a black bean salsa and a chocolate peanut butter pretzel pie for dessert paired up with Grandfather port from Penfolds! #Murica

Grilling, Fireworks, and Family. The best part though is that all my family comes into town for the actual fourth. Usually end up at a pool or pond somewhere. Then I usually take off 2 or 3 weeks after the fourth to go and visit them at their houses across the country.

i was gifted the entire week off from work. rain, rain, rain in the forecast here for the next two days. kind of a bummer.

we have an airbnb booked on a lake, but unsure how that’ll play out given the weather.

ballgame on saturday. probably buy some sparklers or non-explosive fireworks for the toddler.

With so many Zonies (folks from Arizona) flooding to California to escape their heat, everything that would normally be the great things to do have been ruined over the past few years. Overcrowded beaches and traffic caused by a bunch of out-of-towners that can't drive for crap! Now that the venting is done, I'll just be staying in, doing a 6-10 hour slow smoke on some ribs and brisket, a few cigars and plenty of alcoholic beverages to enjoy the long weekend. Try to hit the beach much later after sundown for a nice evening dip and bonfire.

Smoking wings with homemade hot sauce. Smoke a party 898 and contemplate where I will ever find another box. Hope the neighborhood here in Washington shoots off some fireworks as the city will put on another awkwardly silent drone show… so lame.
