We are all honestly ruled by dickheads.

My mate PJ has a fishing boat that is more terrifying than this prawn/shrimp trawler

"The deployment ... sends a very clear message that Canada has a capable and deployable military and we will not hesitate to do what is required to protect our national interest," Defence Minister Bill Blair told reporters.

"Canadian Armed Forces will continue to track the movements and activities of the Russian ships," he added. "Presence is deterrence. We were present."

Terrifying

HMCS Margaret Brooke

The ship is equipped with a vehicle bay which can hold can pickup trucks, all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles. The ship also has two 8.5-metre (27 ft 11 in) multi-role rescue boats capable of over 35 knots (65 km/h; 40 mph). The ship is armed with one BAE Mk 38 25 mm (0.98 in) gun and two M2 Browning machine guns. The patrol ship has an onboard hangar and flight deck for helicopters up to the size of a Sikorsky CH-148 Cyclone.

Here it is in action - sledding anyone?:

Having spent many years in the Canadian navy, I can tell you that they are indeed not very capable at all. The Americans call us “Missile sponges” when we travelled with a carrier group. 🤣

The one that was mechanically safe the whole time I sat off the coast of a certain place when it should have been in AAW auto? Maybe 🤔
