99call Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 I remember edible rice paper rizlas filled with terrible chocolate (cigarettes). I remember feeling they were slightly awkward sweets. Sort of like they didn't really fit. Looking back now British American Tobacco reps must have been laughing their arses off.
MrBirdman Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 In a way kids still smoke candy cigarettes - they just call it vaping. See what happens when you run sugar out of town? Some calorie-free a-hole moves in and stinks the whole place up! 1 3
Boxer31 Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 When we were young 7-8, at family cookouts all the old men grandfather, uncles playing bocce and of course smoking cigars - they would let us chomp on unlit cigars but never cigarettes

I recall being given chocolate cigarettes and cigars when I was a kid. Often by aunties or uncles visiting from overseas. My parents rarely gave my brother and I chocolate as treats (besides Easter), so I never really developed a taste for it. Well who would have known? Collingwood supporters are called the same thing.

Dozerhead Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 I can honestly say the candied cigarettes and bubblegum cigars were in no way a gateway to my tobacco consumption as an adult. It was, perhaps, a gateway to my diabetes...🙄 1
ha_banos Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Yeah so I found these 'things'. Bring back the candied cigarettes! With the red tip! These are tiny! And shit! Things are not how they used to be. 1 1
