El Presidente Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Good read. From those who have tried some of these, let us know your thoughts. 16 Highly-Rated Cigars Under $8 A list of budget-friendly smokes that scored at least 90 points Jun 20, 2024 | By Thomas Pappalardo CONTINUED 2
Lamboinee Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Aladino Honduran corojo is very tasty. They are in my regular rotation. Highly recommend. 1
GerardMichaelTX Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Almost anything from Gran Habano is like opening your mouth and letting a dog excrete in it. Overall it's a nice list but most of them do not outcompete Jose L. Piedra bundles.
Li Bai Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 So that Oliva Serie G petit perfecto was rated 91. I can't speak for the rest of the list but I've had some of these and seriously, CA and Halfwheel should respect their readers more, they're not even pretending to at this point. 4
Cigar Surgeon Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Aladino is a criminal level of value. Charter Oak is also a very good Connecticut at a crazy good price. This goes back to the conversation of the relationship between price and perceived enjoyment/quality. 2
VeguerosMAN Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Oliva is seriously undervalue cigars. I think Serie V and O can hang with Padron 64s. 2
jazzboypro Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 I've had most of these. The charter oak is the best of the bunch (for me) the others ended up on the "will not buy again list."
HoyoFan Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Aladino has quickly become one of my favorite NC's. I'd go for the maduro or the vintage to try. Caldwell is another incredible under the radar smoke. Specifically The King is Dead. I'm a big fan of the Premiere size. Charter Oak is solid, I'd say 89ish points. LFD I'd be careful of in terms of the nicotine hit. 2
