Maverick Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 American members won't understand. There is nothing worse today than being forced into the office for a day of copious meetings, today being SUPERBOWL DAY! I was so pissed off. And my office full of Australian's can't understand that it is a big thing!!!!!!! Ross...
El Presidente Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Ross Replay tonight on FOX Sports :-D We are here in the office watching Gameplay on the net. NO ONE NEEDS TO TELL LISA WHEN SHE IS BACK TOMORROW!!!!!!
jaxstraww Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 That must stink. I wish the SP was on Saturday night.
Maverick Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 Rob, I think that I will just try to avoid hearing the result so that I can watch the replay tonight. Ross...
jay8354 Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I am sorry to say that I took a day off just for this great game. Watching this right now on my Plasma with a James Squire Strong Ale. If only I can smoke a stogie at home and I will have 2 out of 3. Game is too exciting to go for a quick cigar or go to the club to watch this. :-D
JMH Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Hate to say it, but I'd rather go get a few teeth pulled than to have to sit through that crap :-P *bail*
Maverick Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 Nice Result for the Steelers. I was forced to sit and watch the game on live stats, nfl.com ross...

Aside from seeing my team take the title in a somewhat less then "Super" Game and winning my friendly wagers here on FOH, the highlights of the game for me were: 1. Cohiba DC EL 2. Upmann "Tang" Belicoso 3. RyJ EL Robusto :-)
genevapics Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Now you know how we Americans felt during the America's Cup.:-D It was a poorly executed game, but did tighten up there in the 3rd quarter. I believe the better team won, but that is my opinion. I guess the Super Bowl came on between 9:30 am - 1:30 your time monday morning? That would be rough if you were a big football fan. Well, it's all over until next year. Congrats to the Steeler fans. And to those Seahawk fans, let's just say you folks had some opportunities that you let slip through your fingers. I don't believe it was one of Mike Holmgren's better coaching efforts.
mr.harten Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Me being one of the few Americans not all that interested in football, I just sat here for several hours perusing the FOH archives while the game was on in the background.
guilow Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Actually, there is NOTHING WORSE that watching idiot referees make bad calls that swayed the game! (and no, I'm not a Seahawks fan). Worst officiating I've ever seen is a big game like this. Unbelievable.

That is something that we in Australia invented just look at any Brisbane Broncos or Lions game and you will see referees deliberately handing games to the opposition!!!!!!!! Ross...
