The hobby runs in Queen Elizabeth's family line. Her great-grandfather, King Edward VII, her grandfather King George V and her father King George VI were all cigar enthusiasts and tobacco smokers. To me, there's no surprise that she would have this hobby.

The other peculiar habit that most people aren't aware of is the fact that her mother (also Elizabeth) and herself had their daily drinking habits. You would classify the Queen mother as a highly-functioning alcoholic these days as she averaged 10 standard drinks per day (yes, I kid you not!) and Queen Elizabeth would do around 4 standard drinks a day. Both ladies lived until 102 and 96, respectively.

Of course, their closest relative, Princess Margaret famously endorsed both of these traditions of the Royal family. She really liked a smoke and a drink!

Perhaps she enjoyed a few of the Cuban Weed Cigars in her lifetime as well! If Martha Stewart can be the unassuming pothead she is, nothing would surprise me.

Just think of the collection of CC’s the royal family has. Must be mind blowing.
