Jerryvonkramer Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 And now, an experiment! What happens if you use a v-cutter on one of the best Cuban torpedoes and pair it with a super dry Japanese beer? Let’s find out! 1 1 1

Popular Post Jerryvonkramer Posted June 8, 2024 Author Popular Post Posted June 8, 2024 Up to the half way point without ashing. The lager brings out the malty briney side of the BBF, at times there’s a touch of dry roasted peanut in there. The sweeter side is subdued and the salty-savoury side to the fore. Draw is firm but nice. End of second third and the malt had subsided to give way to what I can only describe as chocolate sitting on a pillow of marshmallow. Very slight hint of salt remains but it’s in the background. Now at the nub. Remarkably only one ash this entire stick. Some of the savoury notes came back and body and strength up to full. Sweet and malty and nutty together enveloped in leather, hint of spice. Excellent. Asahi a great pairing with a BBF! V-cut works well. 6 1
