H. Upmann No.2 , Diplomaticos No.2, Montecristo No.2, comparison and which ones best?

I've never had a Monte No.2, but between the Upmann No.2 and Diplo No.2 I would choose the Diplomaticos. The Uppman was lighter than I like and seemed like the flavors were there but just out of reach. The Diplomaticos on the other hand was full of flavor and actually one of my favorite CCs I've tried. 

Hopefully I can snag a few Monte No.2 soon and compare.

I find the Upmann to be the most consistent. I am always wanting more with the Monte, like when is the chocolate going to dominate. 
I have had some great Diplos full of vanilla, and some papery ones.  The Partagas is good but can be sick, or not as spicy as past years.  
The VR is funkier and I used to prefer it, maybe 10-15 years ago. All that said, I have had Monte 2’s from 1980 that were exceptional. I have had original release PSP 2’s from 05 that were good but not great. Same with the OR 1997 Unicos.   

For recent box codes (2019-today), I say Upmann.
