By the way, best Scotch for the money is Monkey Shoulder, in my opinion.

Monkey Shoulder-yes. Good call

Agreed, good call, but Dalwhinnie 12 would be a serious contender imo.

Try making Massachusetts official drink; Scorpion Bowl.

Might be dangerous with the very flammable 151! Many great times at the Hong Kong on Sunday nights.

I'm not a huge whisky guy, but probably going to try these this afternoon and try to get a bit of work done. But what CC would go with these? I am thinking Party Shorts, but what would people say?

Those are probably some of the easiest drinking, mellowest whiskies out there. I'd pair with light bodied cigars.

I've always found it pretty hard to pair CCs with whisky but why not try both with a Party Short? You can tell us what you thought about it! 😉

Trying the Auchentostan with a Bolivar PC. It's very smooth (no grimace from me, rare!), the dominant note is vanilla, citrus aftertaste bit of toffee. Bringing out the cocoa from the cigar strongly but as is so often the case, the whisky, even a lighter one like this, somewhat overpowers. The earthy-leathery quality of Bolivar is subdued.

Homemade lightly sweetened iced coffee here. I really only smoke outside in warmer months, so I think its great.
