Made me wonder this morning - not sure if this has ever been mentioned here, nor if it would be - but how big was the OJ ordeal outside of the US?  If you even care to discuss…

Cheers

In France he was mostly known as Det.Norberg.

He was on the news for 5 mn for the killings and for getting away with it but that's pretty much it.

Was an odd time. OJ is innocent along with the Rodney King cops. I was 0 for 2 on those verdicts.

There are connections between those two acquittals. A juror on OJ's trial stated in "OJ: Made in America" that she decided to acquit OJ because of the Rodney King verdict..and there were others who did the same.

In Australia, the court case was in the media on a continual basis. OJ was in the news thereafter, no matter what happened to him.

After the trial he dedicated his life to finding his wife's killer...one golf course at a time.

This is strange! Out of the blue last week I was talking to a couple of younger guys  about getting something they wanted (they work for me at my project).

Resurrected that old OJ joke. “What two things does OJ have that every man wants?” They looked at me a little strange… “The Heisman trophy and a dead ex-wife…” Whose OJ one replied?

My assistant, she’s 52, starts laughing as she walks by me and says …. "Oh Raaaay! … or a white Bronco and a get outta jail free card!" 🤔

absolutely. endlessly. we knew of him from football but not that well - far less coverage then. then the movies.

then the murder.

i gather instructions were left to fight against any of his money/possessions ever going to the brown family, et al. what a class act. if there is a hell, he is a very uncomfortable man now. otherwise, worm food and that is too good for him.

I just read this morning in the paper that's exactly what the executor was instructed to do.
