Popular Post Ford2112 Posted April 2, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 2, 2024 I have limited experience with this marque so I smoked this without looking up flavor notes or reviews so I could come at it with no preconceived notions or expectations. I have 1 more of these with some pretty extensive foot damage. It has a pointy end so it's a piramide right? LOL anyway. Paired with an Iced Cold brew coffee, medium sweet. The draw on this cigar is firm and it has a nice aroma at cold of old leather ,some sweet spice. I get a sweet spice note on the cold draw. 1st inch or so I am getting a toast and buttery flavor, with some sweetness and bready notes as well. Mild flavors, under medium body, with some smooth spices on the retrohale. Good draw and perfect construction so far. 1st third, some cream, a little mild cocoa, bread and spices on the retro. 2nd third picks up a little with it being right at medium now. Excellent burn and construction. Look at that ash! I'm getting a bit more spice here. Some honeyed notes along with creaminess on the retro. I'm retrohaling infrequently. The aroma is really good. The last third is still hovering around medium. Honey and spices and some cream. There isn't much evolution here, which is a bit of a bummer. No edges though as it has some mellow age on it. The draw and construction remain flawless. Good finish overall. An enjoyable cigar. Would I buy again? Probably not at these prices. Smoking time is around an hour and 45 minutes. Overall it's a good cigar, not great. I give a 92. Flavor could be more complex imo ,construction and burn bumps it up,and the aroma was excellent. 8 1
