Webbo Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 in mid April I need to visit SA for a week on business, never visited before (first time in TX) so can anyone advise where I should stay centrally, bars, restaurants general things to do (and dont!) and of course anywhere to enjoy a cigar. Any help appreciated. thanks
Matai Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 Ahh you can stay at the supposedly haunted Emily Morgan hotel. Located downtown. Quite a bit of stuff by it also. A nice walk to the Alamo and a bunch of other places to go to within walking distance. There is Cigar international that has a big space/bar for smoking. Club humidor is smaller style, Fincks cigars. All pretty good places. The Mexican food is good. 1
El Presidente Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 It has been a long time since I have been to San Antonio but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty going on. Riverwalk is great for a drink (if not the greatest of food). Backstreet BBQ is superb. Others will chime in. Enjoy! 1
BrantZ Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 I live in SA, TX. Hotel Emma is a good choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
JohnnyChong Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 On the infamous River Walk, there is an Irish bar called Durty Nelly that is smoker friendly. The music there is also good. 1
