How is good Cuban tobacco made?

Cuban tobacco is recognized throughout the world. It's unique. Its quality and aroma distinguish it from the rest. In these photos I will bring you closer to the processes that influence its formation, I will introduce you to some of those who, with tremendous simplicity, do it. This time, from the province of Pinar del Río. By the way, I share with you some verses from "Songs of Tobacco" by Lorenzo Suárez Crespo:

Pinar del Río, there are
so many riches in you
that make the ruby taller
and San Juan more fertile.
In those plains are:
the first fruits of the cigar,
the verse, the Cuban point,
the centuries-old songs,
the Canary Islands in their minstrelsy
with the malara in hand.

The sun that bathes the ateje,
the ceiba and the beautiful palm,
extends its butterfly
of light to the cuaguateje.
And the walker who weaves
the dreams that the water waters,
full of pride, surrenders
to the enjoyment of good smoking
when
the tobacco of the plain comes to the palate.

Tobacco, flowering tobacco
from the plant to the harvest,
from the wrapper to the wick,
from the palate to the flavor.
From the exquisite drowsiness
to the pride that emanates,
from the blonde morning
to the dreamy night,
from the soil of Pinar del Río
to the Cuban Homeland.
