Popular Post Justins123 Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 1. 1994 2. 1492 I’ve smoked my fair share of the 1994s. They are out of this world good. Always wondered how the 1492s compare. 8

Maybe the worst Cuban cigar I’ve ever had. Wind tunnel and wouldn’t stay lit. I have one more but I’m scared to smoke it. Eventually I will though. They can’t both be bad can they? A Cuban Davidoff. Would prefer the especial no1 the lancero. But I’d love to try one, one day even if it’s over the hump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I’ve smoked a few 25 count boxes of Magnificos, and still own some. I still smoke one a year on my birthday as I’ve done that since they were released. They were at their absolute best fresh in my opinion up until about 5 years from production. My personal opinion, but they lose more as every year goes by. I think this is because it was intentionally blended to taste like a PL Magnum from vintage samples. They did good at that, but nowadays I’ll take PL Gran Robusto over an Magnifico. Also you may have got the re-release and they weren’t near as good as the OG release. Interestingly the same can be said for the PL Robusto. I thought that would be legendary, and they most definitely have not aged well. Way more caramel in the first 7 years. Fresh they were great, especially the darker wrappered ones. Such a shame. if I could get another crack at some cigars that I’ve loved, they would be the RyJ Romeos from the RyJ 125 humidor. I’ve smoked 5. What an amazing cigar, one of my favs. Also love to have one more chance at the 2000 Festival Marevas. Such a unique cigar. Had boxes, and now don’t own a single. 3
Popular Post benfica_77 Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 Wish list cigars Dip Bushidos I also love the packaging of that box. Everything seems to be nailed on that release. Also a Cuban Davidoff. It's prohibitively expensive even for one and provenance would make it very difficult since there are many many fakes. These days I'm happy with a solid regular production robusto or petite corona. 7

MagicalBikeRide Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I’d love to have tried the 2018 UK regional - that ERDM La Reina. Lots of people have good things to say and I love a lancero. Couldn’t stomach the price on release and it only went up. C’est la vie. From things I’ve actually smoked, I finished a box of LUB HU2’s early last year. If only I owned a time machine… 4
Popular Post Stanislaw Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 Hope I'm not spoiling the fun but oddly enough, I don't dream of a specific marca or limited edition unobtainium smoke but rather a cigar from my past that, if I had a Time Machine, I'd go back and smoke over and over: 1) 1996 Punch Double Corona while sitting at the Biergarten with my dearest friends in Augsburg, Germany 2) 1997 Cohiba Siglo V with my dad sitting on the front doorstep in the evening on his birthday I'd give anything to smoke those again. 10
Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 A Cuban Davidoff for obvious reasons. Diplomaticos Bushido. Everything about that release slaps. It really grabbed my attention and I always wanted to try one since I first saw them. The problem is, not sure a cigar as highly built up in one's mind as these can really live up to expectations. 5
X-Man Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Now, for my fantasy Holy Grail cigars: 30th Aniversario Humidor Cohiba Robusto Especial Saint Luis Rey Prominente 50 Cabinet Wish I have the opportunity to smoke these rare ones just once. There is hope 😃 3
Popular Post ender.lmm Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 I wonder if it is the cigar or the occasion, of cigars I've smoked1) Cohiba GR at my dad's 70th birthday party2) the first La Escepcion Selectos Finos, I was in a very relaxed state, this would be my one cigar for the rest of my smokesOther than that, holy grail cigarsDunhill and Davidoff Cuban cigars. Corona or lancerosSent from my CPH2451 using Tapatalk 6
Popular Post westg Posted February 8 Popular Post Posted February 8 Wow...the first two from Rob had me thinking yep I would take those as well. Actually however I would settle for another two of these. Reynaldo custom rolls. Not sure what he called them. I picked up 10 in Cuba . I cannot remember enjoying any other cigar as much as these. So rich so balanced so many flavours a solid 90 Min plus smoke as well. Are they flying pigs not sure. 5
Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted February 8 Popular Post Posted February 8 1. 1492 (They were out of this world.) 2. Dunhill Cabinetta. (My favorite of the Dunhills I have tried.....if you couldn't tell by my avatar.) Honorable mention goes to Cohiba 30th Anniversario Robusto Especial, and the Partagas Serie C No. 1 Coleccion Habanos. 7
Popular Post MrBirdman Posted February 8 Popular Post Posted February 8 Siglo VI GR 1492 This assumes they were delivered by a Time Machine from within a few years of being produced. 5

Not that one Di, the other one 12 friends doing a tasting of two cigars that I have only tried a few times in my life. 1. Montecristo Double Corona Edicion Limitada 2001 2. Cohiba Double Corona Edicion Limitada 2003. Lunch would commence at 12pm. Suckling pig and 5 courses prepared by Javier. Possibly start with the Monte. 4 PM we commence the cheese platters, sherry/whisky, rums. Cohiba. Both cigars are ones that slipped through my hands originally. I didn't get to see a lot of boxes of either and I made a mistake of not holding onto enough for myself before they ran out. They are the two CC that I would love to smoke once more. i had two beautiful boxes of those cohibas. won't mention a certain person's dodgy humidor doubling as a swimming pool. 1
Ken Gargett Posted February 8 Posted February 8 i think i'd go with one of Hamlet's whopper DCs. and the Tang Monarch. 3
Perla Posted February 8 Posted February 8 A/B is The Davidoff 1000. when my sister married back in 1989 my brother-in-law asked me if I could spare the time to drive to Schaffhausen to buy some Davidoff 1000. In those days I was not into cigars. But I can’t get over the fact that my b-i-l was smoking Cuban Davidoff. And yes, I am jealous about it. I won’t be getting close to any of them. And he didn’t even appreciate it. That really cracks me up. C. A lovely box of LGC No. 1 from 1994. I was smoking a lot of them last year, all of sudden I realised they will turn up 30 years in 2024. So I have 5 left from the box. 2 are promised to friend and the last 3 will be savoured during the year. LGC Tainos, this box will be killed at our annual August meeting. Good plans for 2024 so far. 4

Hard to verify authenticity, but everything else I got from him checks out so there’s no reason to suspect he’d be inaccurate about the custom rolls.
Naug Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Have one or a few more - Saint Luis Rey Serie A - smoked these quite often in the late 90'r early 00's, same goes for El Rey Del Mundo DC 3
Shawn4212 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 1- RA Belicosos 2005 (UK).. Im a huge RA fan. This one eluded me but seemed very highly rated by all who were lucky enough to get their hands on one. 2- H. Upmann Petite (machine made).. Just for fun. Always hear the stories about JFK and I always ask myself Why? Would be cool just to try and maybe find an answer for myself. Lol 4

Upmann Dunhill Seleccion Suprema or I'd settle for a Dunhill Estupendo. Really any H. Upmann Dunhill from Cuba H. Upmann Petite Upmann... for the same reasons would be fun to try this one to see why he sought it out so much. A really old Davidoff would be cool too. 5
