El Presidente Posted February 7 Posted February 7 CC Holy grail: When push comes to shove, the two CC you would love to smoke just once......or just once more? Let me set this up A.....you may not be able to afford them B.....you may not be able to find them....or ever see them again. C....you may actually hold some precious stock....but you are too afraid to light them as points A & B both apply. Only two. Two CC you would love to smoke just once......or just once more?
Popular Post El Presidente Posted February 7 Author Popular Post Posted February 7 I have a recurring dream. Not that one Di, the other one 12 friends doing a tasting of two cigars that I have only tried a few times in my life. 1. Montecristo Double Corona Edicion Limitada 2001 2. Cohiba Double Corona Edicion Limitada 2003. Lunch would commence at 12pm. Suckling pig and 5 courses prepared by Javier. Possibly start with the Monte. 4 PM we commence the cheese platters, sherry/whisky, rums. Cohiba. Both cigars are ones that slipped through my hands originally. I didn't get to see a lot of boxes of either and I made a mistake of not holding onto enough for myself before they ran out. They are the two CC that I would love to smoke once more. 11
Lant63 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 PL magnificos. Lauded, highly respected. I tracked a pair down about 8 years ago and smoked the first one 5-6 years ago. Maybe the worst Cuban cigar I’ve ever had. Wind tunnel and wouldn’t stay lit. I have one more but I’m scared to smoke it. Eventually I will though. They can’t both be bad can they?A Cuban Davidoff. Would prefer the especial no1 the lancero. But I’d love to try one, one day even if it’s over the hump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
KCCubano Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I smoked my last Monte DC EL about 6 months ago. Stunning and still had the juice to age even further. I smoked all my Cohiba DC EL I believe in first 5 years so no clue on how that one aged. The two I would love to smoke again are the OR Sig VI and OR BHK 52. Both purchased from Czar! 4

I’ve never had the fabled Behike. The 52 would have been my choice. Oh my God, I just hade a flashback (it happens to us children of the ‘70’s from time to time.) That was what I asked about at LCDH/Libre in Havana when the response was “you’d have a better chance of finding Punch Sir David on the island.” I got home and googled PSD and it led me here! 5 years later, I got a T-shirt!!!🤣 Never had a Cuban Davidoff either… 4
Popular Post Bill Hayes Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 1. Behike 54 2. Cohiba Double Corona Edicion Limitada 2003. I think the DC is probably the best cigar I've ever smoked followed by the 2003 siglo 6 and the Cohiba 1966 5

Entire box was 95+ points and impeccable construction. 3

wjs Posted February 7 Posted February 7 20 some odd years ago, I was given a Cohiba by a vendor fresh off his first trip to Cuba whilst watching the ponies in Del Mar. It was the first real cigar I’d ever smoked and I remember it being magic. No clue what it was but I’d love a re-do on that one. And y’all make Lusi’s sound great, I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to tick that one off someday.
Popular Post X-Man Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 The 40th Aniversario Humidor Cohiba Behike The Bolivar Edicion Regional China Distinguido with the special gold band I had the pleasure to enjoyed the original Behike (3432) on one memorable evening in Shanghai, back in April 20th, 2009. Thanks to a very generous gentleman, Mr. Fred Kiang, Ex-Chairman of Sunrise Duty Free of China, also known as Habanos Man of the year 2006. The Bolivar Distinguido was a gift from a very dear friend in Taipei. I took it back to Shanghai with me and waited a few more years, before I smoked it during Chinese New Year break eight years ago. On a side note, I also had the experience to smoke the initial release of Opus X Chateau d’Reserva. The most pleasurable NC I have ever tasted. Funny, now I am thinking of these 3 cigars, they were all gifted to me. Is that a coincidence? 🤷🏻♂️ 6
ned Posted February 7 Posted February 7 1. A 1982 Cohiba Lancero. From my birth year, and an absolute white whale of a cigar. I have never seen one in person, cant even imagine how much one may cost. But if given carte blanche, and maybe access to Min Ron Nee's humidor I could find 1 2. The OG release of the Cohiba Gran Reserva. A substitute would be the RyJ Duke. I had one when I first met my wife. 3
