I miss that time...long long ago. When the only people who were involved in generating opinions, thoughts etc actually had qualifications.

So this is really funny because I shared the link this morning in an industry group chat I participate in. I mentioned the analytics seemed really off because the account has only been around for 3 months, they have under 400 subs but they have content pumping out 3,000 - 7,000 views.

Definitely looks like AI generated crap content and it's frustrating because as a content creator we're limited due to YT age gating that these AI accounts are obviously getting around.

Content has been a thing of value for the longest time. AI creates near free content and now content has much less value.  At some point, content we read and watch will be mostly AI generated. Why pay a bunch of people to do what AI and slim staff can do for much less?

I think that we are in a moment where people are making those types of decisions. If someone thinks they can get the same or quality of work with less staff, offloading it to AI is a no brainer.  But I think the video we all just watched is indicative of the type of AI generated merde we can expect for the time being.  

I'd love to see the actual metrics on that video.

This technology is in its infancy. Think of the internet 20 years ago. Those sites are similarly primitive by today's standards.
