Miner Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 In the meantime, we are at the other end of the scale, temps in the old currency for comparison 1

ha_banos Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Last time I'll mention it. It's meaningless to the rest of us! 😂 Today, the United States, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands are the only countries that exclusively use Fahrenheit temperatures. 1
BettyHumpder Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 My usual routine of advocating for Fahrenheit for air temperature/weather, Celsius for science: 0 and 100 in F are great numbers to measure "yeah, you're going to be totally miserable outside." they're more useful for the human experience of weather. That said, 4°F for a high, -15°F windchill here. no cigars will be consumed until next week when we return to the 30s. I tell ya, the bone-chilling winters do make you appreciate when it warms up. the first 60 and 70 degree days of the season here are like state holidays.
Biggerfaster40 Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Easiest way to enjoy a cigar in frigid winter weather…. Live somewhere warm. I confirmed this science last night while sitting on a seedling heat mat, wearing full winter gear, with a wool blanket wrapped around me, with a tarp wrapped around that and a space heater sitting inside my tarp body wrap I’m just living the obsessed newb life right now where I’m consumed by enjoying a cigar even when I don’t enjoy it! Someday soon I’ll be jaded enough to just wait for warmer weather.
ubiquito Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 We have a sliding door to the back porch right off our kitchen. I have taken to enjoying a cigar while cleaning the kitchen or prepping/cooking. I just pop out every couple minutes for a few puffs! Works in any temp and I don't even need to be dressed that warmly 😛 1
