Do these things have an actual market away from family and friends? Even if Cohiba or Davidoff or Fuente, people buy them?

Since there are only 3/10 available in the world, I'd guess that type of rarity has its own marketplace.

Most likely the Aurora guy is a fan of Jacob&Co’s (imho shitty) watches so commissioned 7 for f&f plus 3 to punt to fools and pay for the prod cost of the whole 120 anniversary collection and then some.

J&C may have some nice looking movements but really a jewellery house and prime gemsetter.

Love watches but can’t stand looking at Jacob pieces.

I wonder if any of the tooling used to stamp parts and bridges can be used on a different model?

They wouldn't make anything besides the embellishments unique. It looks similar to the Cristiano Ronaldo collab they did, using their Caliber JCAM45 movement.
