Biggerfaster40 Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 So I calibrated a Govee and a few other hygros I had on hand using the salt (used fine sea salt) method…. Now I throw them all into a bag with a 72% boveda, and they all read about 74%….. Would you be more apt to trust the salt, or boveda? Just getting these tuned up for a package I’m expecting any day now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ha_banos Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Boveda have tolerance. Hygrometers have tolerance. Heck even salt has tolerance. So your results are 100% accurate.... Within all these tolerances! https://bovedainc.com/question/can-i-calibrate-my-hygrometer-using-any-rh-boveda-2/#:~:text=* In an airtight environment%2C these,RH printed on the pack. 2
