Popular Post Russell Posted December 18, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 18, 2023 Not sure if this fits the qualifications or not but here we are. 🤷♀️ The Foundation Senetjer was my #1 acquirement of 2023. So I thought this would be the perfect time to review it! As a teenager I was obsessed with King Tut and the discovery of his tomb. So picking up this box was a must. Bonus too that I was able to grab one from a local B&M. Let’s see if the tobacco lives up to the marketing. 1st third: I would consider this start medium in strength; which is surprising, but welcomed. Main body I’m getting is woodsy and espresso with a hint of barnyard. Like I’m sitting on a bench out side of a barn made of cedar while sipping espresso. Undertones of creamy toasted nuts. Smooth. Retro has light pepper, but not over powering and disappears (or I become desensitized) after the first few retrohales. Aroma of baking spices; nutmeg. 2nd third: Strength ramps up to a solid medium, maybe even medium full. Wood tones become more pronounced, and the toasted nuts turn more into toasted graham cracker. And at times I’m getting hints of black cherry. Final third: Barnyard and espresso comes back now richer and more full. Graham cracker dipped in espresso. Creamy smoothness. A delight. Overall, I was very satisfied with the how well this stick lived up to the hype. Total smoking time: 1 hour 10 minutes. Great flavors, beautiful construction, and cool story/box. Foundation really hit it out of the park with this one. I’m super excited to see how this develops over the years. Rating: 93 8
