bob Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Good question....I've always wondered what some of those extra letters in the commerce listing was about.

In some cases, you will see it listed as 12, 13. Still would like to get some help with the M and GPSR. Anyone?
Black Plague Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 I have a question of my own along this line. On that same page that genevapics is talking about, it lists the different vitolas made by each brand and their packaging. Now can that be taken as a definitive list of today's regularly made Habanos? (excluding ELs, regional releases, special orders, etc.) Seems a little odd, especially H. Upmann, which according to this no longer makes a cervantes sized cigar.

A comparison of the site and the production list Rob posted shows that they match pretty closely. Not perfectly, but closely. I don't know that this is a definitive list. On the second part of the post, I don't think H Upmann makes a Cervantes any longer. They used to make the Lonsdale and the No. 1, but both have been discontinued. I cannot think of any other in the line that are of the cervantes vitola.
El Presidente Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Good question for our Habanos s.a man. Have fired off e-mail.
Trevor2118 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 » Good question (re packaging codes) for our Habanos s.a man. » » Have fired off e-mail. Hi Prez. Habanos SA appears to have replied with its usual enthusium. Any updates?? I have been doing a section in my website on this, at: http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/2-info.ht...Packaging_Codes Can you, or any others viewing this thread help. PS. I have emailed Hananos SA several times with never a reply.....I have never asked for anything other than information. :-( Regards, Trevor2118
habanablue Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 In cuba you can wait almost an hour before your drinks arrive (coke although americano, is flown in from Mexico) and then another hour for your food to arrive. Using this as a guide, your response should be arriving in approximately 18 weeks. if not ....too bad:-D

As well as compiling the info, a lot of time is taken by checking. I never accept WWW info from a single source. All info is checked with my reference books (listed on site) or with another source (including this forum - so be careful what you say! :-p.) When there is a discrepance, I check a third source. Sometimes I have checked up to 4 and still can not get confirmation.....in this case I include the info with a ? following it & sometimes with a comment. This way nothing can go wrong, go wrong, go wrong, go wrong, go wrong As always I look forward to any comment or suggestions. Regards

El Presidente Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Trevor. Just hang on until our Habanos s.a guest arrives next month. I have him for the best part of a week so I can address this and other issues at leisure. I will start a post next week asking for detailed questions you would all like me to put forward.
