Vitty Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Are people storing the nudies in the cellophane?

Leaving in the cello really serves no purpose after they arrive at your door. Others may have a different opinion. The Ninfa bundle is in the singles drawer in my end table cabinet humidor. 1 1

cgoodrich Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Arrived last night. They look wonderful @El Presidente, thank you and Hamlet for everything! 2
SCgarman Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I'm going to fire one up tomorrow evening. (Friday). My cold is just about gone. Can't wait to try these, something new!
Justins123 Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 Excited to try these ninfas but going to let them rest for a while. 4
Sandman Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 Interested to read some reviews and tasting notes. 1
SCgarman Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 I smoked one last evening. Definitely a blend unto itself as far as the Nudies go. There is a unique flavor note in there I can't quite describe yet. Need to smoke a few more. Definitely enjoyable. Seemed to last far beyond the 40-50 minute duration time. 3
Lt4-396 Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 I've had two so far. As SCgarmin pointed out, definitely unique blend when compared to the rest of the Nudie line. Burn, construction and draw were perfect. They had this floral, lemongrass note on the cold draw and throughout the entirety of the smoke. I did not get much baking spice, bread, cocoa notes but one only rested for 35mins, the other rested for a whole 2 days so can not judge or accurately review them. Zero pepper, harshness or sharp edges, still early but I am pretty sure these will be in the daily rotation alongside the Carlotta. Smoke time was about 80mins but I tend to smoke slower then most. 2 1
El Presidente Posted December 16, 2023 Author Posted December 16, 2023 Glad you are enjoying them. They are hellishly moreish
SCgarman Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 I have to admit it is an adjustment getting used to smoking a 7 inch long cigar. My Robustos/ Marevas in the 5 inch range. Definitely a long/skinny to the max!
Popular Post Tunkat92 Posted December 17, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 17, 2023 Just smoked a ninfa, so far the Lancero has been my favorite nudie by a long shot. I think these my take the crown though. I was little too occupied during the smoke to make a detailed review. 85 minute smoke and a solid 90 point ROTT. Great smoke output and construction. Raisin like sweetness, a touch grassiness, a distinct nutty/ bready retro with virtually no pepper. 6
Popular Post SCgarman Posted December 17, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 17, 2023 I smoked a second Ninfa last night. That is a great blend, I think it is a raisin note in there. Next to the Canonazo, these Ninfas will definitely be tied for #1 in my opinion. Rob, how do you smoke these in 50 minutes? I get well over an hour, and I am not an extremely slow smoker. Needed a couple relights, perhaps the tobacco is a bit on the wet side still. All in all these sticks are fantastic! 5

Just on 80 minutes yesterday evening. I couldn't work out the time disparity until it dawned on me that the first batch that we used for blend tasting (and my first review notes) were 6 inches.
