Popular Post El Presidente Posted November 16, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2023 This is from a press release...but I get to see industry press releases a few times a day. This one stood out. Nicely executed 6 Black Label Trading Company releases The Black Album: A Limited-Edition Anthology of cigars, to select retailers. The Black Album cigars are hand crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. “With 2023 being our 10-year anniversary, we really wanted to close it out with a bang. I’ve had this idea of a “greatest hits” release for a while and I think this is the perfect occasion to release it. The Black Album is a curated selection of limited releases spanning from 2013 to the present. Each cigar represents a defining moment in our brand’s history and helped build our brand into what it is today. I’m very excited for them to be available all together for the first time,” said James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co. and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra. The Black Album Anthology begins shipping next week to retailers. Country of Origin: Nicaragua Black Album Anthology – Curated Box (24 count) Bishops Blend – 7×42, 5×48 Deliverance Nocturne – 5×56 La Madonna Negra – 4.5×48 Last Rites Viaticum – 6×48 Memento Mori – 5×50 Morphine – 7.25×42, 5×42 Royalty Black – 5×54 Super Deluxe – 4.5×4866 5
BrightonCorgi Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Not familiar with their cigars. How are they in general?
Kevin48438 Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 I’ve tried 3 or 4 of the brand. I’d say they were average overall. Probably why I’ve only tried a few. But that box is pretty sweet. I may try to get one. Maybe find a real winner or 2. This marketing does work.
B44 Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 They make great cigars. Different, but great. 1

I've smoked most of the blends due to marketing and recommendations from tobacconists. They are in general full flavor with lots of transitions. Lots of intricate barberpoles. They are not mild or smooth, they are kinda challenging overall. If you smoke a ton of NC, these will be different, which is pretty much what they are going for. That being said, I rarely re-buy them, and I have yet to buy a box. Great marketing tho. Check out 'The Hive' collection. 1 2
