There’s a burger chain in Ireland called Bunsen. That’s my fav.

From work travel around US and / or UK, I’d have to go with Five Guys. Feels a little more cooked to order.

I quit all fast food about 2-3 years ago. So as far as a burger I either make them grilled at home, or order from a restaurant that has a good burger on their menu. BTW, type 2 diabetes is gone, and I

My vote in the Midwest is definitely Five Guys.  Always fresh and made to order.  Same with the fries!  Can’t beat a huge bag of their steaming hot, freshly sliced, freshly fried Cajun seasoned fries.

The fries at In and Out need to be cooked well done for me. But a double double with onions is hard to beat.  Five Guys have better fries but I prefer the burgers of In and Out. I'm in California

When I've visited the West Coast of the US, yes...In-N-Out Burger, hands down. However, when I've visited the other side of the US, my preference is definitely for Shake Shack.

Put it this way, the Cotton Bowl between Boston College and Boise State, in Dallas, was cancelled due to weather and was designated a no contest after multiple lighting delays on December 26th, 2018. It was the first such game called off for bad weather. My son, George and I were in that thunderstorm heading to Shake Shack for some burgers.

So worth it! 👍 😁

I don't eat fast food but maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Had an appt last week run much longer than expected and was starving so went through drive thru at Shake Shack on way home. The Double Smoke Shack Burger was excellent.

I don’t do fast food often, but when I make burgers at home, I try to keep it simple and tasty. One trick I’ve picked up is mixing a splash of dry whole milk into the meat. It helps keep the patties juicy and adds a nice, subtle flavor. I usually season them with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder before grilling.
