cigaraholic Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Still raining here which is great, one more cigar for a longer race. It’s got a tough act to follow, picked something I haven’t smoked in years, but I remember the last one was very good. It’s well filled and the colorado wrapper is gorgeous, still has a beautiful sheen with dark oil spots. I’ve taken good care of her! I always worry about the draw with this size cigar, don’t want to be fighting a tight draw for over 2 hours. Clip the head and test it and it seems fine. Light it and all is well, plenty of smoke coming through. Opening flavors are wood and white pepper. I forgot about the cigar for a minute watching the start of the race and then I get blasted with a mouthful of salty driftwood, look at the band and laugh. The smoke is smooth and creamy, I can’t think of a better cigar to learn how to retrohale with. Absolutely delicious cigar, it’s salty, woody, nutty, creamy, with a hazelnut cola finish. It’s a payday candy bar cigar. And the best part is I take a puff of this delicious cigar and there’s still 7 inches left. It’s really showing that only the best rollers roll these cigars, it’s just crawling along beautifully with a perfect sharp burn. With 6 inches to go it’s so tasty I’m smacking my lips. With 4 inches to go I can’t believe it’s getting even sweeter. With 3 inches to go I’m sure you can guess what I’m smoking. 2
