99call Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 For years I thought I had imagined this humidor in a dream. I remember seeing a photo of it and thinking it was crazy, and that I would love to own one, but in the subsequent years I never saw it again, and couldn't remember what it was called. Year after year, I became more and more convinced it was just something I had made up in my head. I'm glad I'm not crazy, and still want one more than ever "In cooperation with Christian Ludwig Attersee, we commissioned a porcelain jar in 2008. Mr. Attersee has designed a Prozellan Jar with the ground plan of the Stephandom in wine. Mr. Attersee is an Austrian painter of Pop Art, stage designer, musician and writer In 1990, Attersee was appointed as an extraordinary professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna for "Masterclass for Experimental Design". From 1992, he was awarded the "Masterclass painting, animation film and tapestry" as a full professor. His works are characterized by figural-symbolic style, bright colors and dynamic brush stroke. In many cases, doubly foolish associations and fantasies of a view of things, which is as individualistic as it is very Austrian. The Prozellan Jar was produced in limited edition of 100 pieces and everyone is unique" Anyway it does actually exist. @ATGroom is there a reason this is not on the CCW? or maybe it is, and I can't find it. 4
Salomones Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 There are many other special Jars and Humidors not on CCW. So, why should this....

CCW is our best richest, most valuable resource of capture with regards to the production of cuban cigars. Whilst I would agree with you that there is no special case for this humidor to be featured, my position would be that I would prefer the resource to include all the "special jars and humidors' you mention. My question to Alex was more based on that. i.e. is there a special reason this doesn't feature, or is it just man hours, and there being more important pressing areas of input.

Reason no.1 would be because I've never heard of this before, but reason 2 is that CCW only really catalogues official Habanos SA releases. There are a handful of exceptions, all added before my time, I think mostly because the lines between "official" and "unofficial" were a bit more blurry and the remit of the site wasn't as firm back when Trev first adding things. I don't delete them because it seems like a step backward to be deleting things, even if they don't technically belong. Very cool jar, anyway! 4
