Let's assume you have the opportunity of putting together a blend to meet your taste. Now there is plenty of tobacco and the world is your oyster......but you can pick one wrapper shade only.

From your heart, which would you pick?

Cigars are classified into seven color varieties.

MF Doom for sure.

I do love a Colorado with a tip of the cap to Colorado claro. It has that rich look that makes the cigar seem extra special.

I’m into Colorado and Colorado Claro - picking only one - Colorado for sure.

I guess I am not alone in my pick of  "Colorado Claro".  The opportunities I get to pick from multiple boxes have always gone to that shade.

Not too light and not too dark a thin stretched look and an oily feel.

I'm in the Colorado Claro camp. But some cigars benefit from lighter wrappers.

Claro. RASS, PSD4, RGPC, and a few others "taste best" with this shade of wrapper. Is it for real or psychological? Maybe both.

While I do like some Claro and some Colorado, Colorado Claro is what I associate with my favorite cigars. I totally thought that most would vote for Colorado but I was sorely mistaken... Glad to see most of the fine folks here share my love for Colorado Claro!

Nice write up! Darker wrappers are stronger imho so I tend to pick the lighter ones.

Like your Fundies which look amazing by the way. I'd be happy with both of those boxes!!

Is anyone else surprised with how little love maduro is getting ?

They give me NC feeling which I’m not a very big fan of. Punchy sticks perhaps.

I think if people could pick two options maduro would figure a little more prominently .
