I love the Oscuro blend too - it really does add something to the Opus X line. I've got a few boxes of the Reserva d'Chateau but after having one of the Power Ranger's I'd go for that - very punchy!

Have you tried any with some years on them? I could see these having serious legs with upside.

I have one of these aging I'm really looking forward to. I have been extremely impressed with 2 out 3 Opus X I've had so far. The XXX Belicoso was my first and I was hooked. The Second was an Angel's Share and that blew me away. Unfortunately the Third a Gran Aniverxario Destino al Siglo was not great and definitely not one id buy again.

I had yet to have one really wow me. This one started off as rhe most complex NC I've ever had. I'm gonna grab 5 of them from that same box and age them.

I cannot remember the corresponding vitolas, but I really enjoyed the Robusto size Oscuro. I couldn’t believe it burned for 2.5hrs and there was not a part I did not enjoy.

These cigars are intriguing as a line. They had a open box of Robustos as well.

I've smoked a few of the Oscuro and actually like the other Opus lines better. But I enjoyed your review!

Glad to see someone review this cigar. I picked up a couple when I visited my local B&M earlier in the year and they've been sitting in my NC tupper ever since. I never really had a desire to try it (or the oscuro line) until this review. Definitely one I'll be reaching for in the coming month.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not - I bought both boxes a year or so ago. Whilst less powerful and a different blend, the Opus X Angels Share is also terrific, well worth a shot.

I have tried the Angel's Share. Will revisit. Obviously the one I had didn't make a lasting impression.
