MagicalBikeRide Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 200 pints per day is easy. I’ve worked in bars like this. Take even a small pub (say 30 person capacity) that has 8-10 regulars and each has 10-15 pints a day. Then add a couple people that have 2-3 pints at the end of their workday - you’re basically there. For most Guinness drinkers at this volume, it’s not a case that they switch to anything else. Save for perhaps a whiskey in parallel with a Guinness. This type of alcohol culture (or alcoholism in reality) is unimaginable to most outside of Ireland, but it’s absolutely prevalent and accepted here. Unfortunately.
