gormag38 Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 I purchased a 3 pack of Espy from a private seller. Everything about the box and bands look okay with exception to this one flaw. Was wondering if anyone has ever come across it before. It looks like the holographic "COHIBA" and "CUBA" along with the taino heads stop in the bottom and top gold bands. All three of the cigar bands are like this.
Nevrknow Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Seen that exact thing on every glass top box I have bought on a Mexican beach. Nothing to worry about. 👍 😁 All kidding aside. Yes. How about this? A Sig IV and a II. Both purchased from right here. 👍 You're good. My professional, un educated guess is that they are the "true ends" of regular production bands. Might be wrong but that's my answer. 2

vladdraq Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 Just smoke one and you'll know right away. 1
vladdraq Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 Not sure how those bands are coming, i suppose it's a roll. I just can't believe three rolls (ore 25) ended in the same time, maybe they kept the ends to put them all in one pack. 1

After looking at some of the other Cohiba boxes I've got I noticed the same thing on a box of CoRo bought from the same retailer and with the same factory code/year (UTL 19). Maybe it's more common than I realized.....I just never thought to look that closely as the sources I've used I trust. Still good to know that I'm not alone.
