i remain bitterly disappointed you have never employed me as your customer service representative. do you know how much fun you have deprived me of, over the years?

Rob, We'd like to say that we understand but honestly...only the 'Ravis of the world' truly can do so. Frankly, I'm waiting for the e-mail where someone complains that a whole box of Habanos ciga

This is indeed a rarity. Maybe twice a year you come across such unbalanced individuals.  I don't particularly mind this type of character as they are not trying to be fraudulent. They are simply clue

New week. No respite ;)

The box of Bolivar Petite Corona was fake, and counterfeit as well, they were sent back to you to the same address in the same packaging. What I’d like to know is there was three separate purchases, you surely must’ve known they were fake? why did you send those to me? I want my money back for those, I could’ve bought real Habanos cigars, that’s over $800! Did you get those from China? Smoke them, I wouldn’t sell them.

I'm no longer worried about the state of the cigars in these responses anymore. Rather, I'm more concerned with the poor spelling and grammar which may indicate 'fakeness' in the replies.

"I just had one of the 2022 RASCC  I just recently got from you, and that is not a real Cuban cigar"

His palate. Or in this case his palette?

If they are TUA 21 or (Gorblimey) MSU 19’s spin them right around to me. I don’t even mind the missing stick!😀

I am glad that I learned long ago that Tabacuba neither cares about my business nor the quality of the cigars it produces. I got this lesson when the bill for these cigars would have been under $200.

Ignorance is only part of the issue here. Being cheated is this customers reality. And he likely has been cheated. Blaming the wrong party is his own fault. I would expect far more of this with newer customers. A gift from Tabacuba…

This price model will eventually need to change or it will destroy the Cuban cigar. I look forward to that day!

Terribly true. I would feel cheated too if I just got into the CC game after lurking for years and envisioning the perfection that is the cuban cigar as portrayed by popular media, only to have dropped a few thousand bucks on underwhelming sticks.

I like to think I wouldn't shoot the messenger though. You'd have to be real selective in your research not to be prepared for inconsistent product and quality control.

I don't see here the issue being the price, or construction. Might be the blend, but that doesn't mean they are fake. I have a box o gorgeous looking Boli Petit Coronas and they are extremely strong, i try one every year and i'm still not able to enjoy them after 5-6 years or so.

And well, people are paying top dollars for fake Cohibas for years now and they still think those are" real".

Shooting from the hip, I would guesstimate 9% of Cuban cigars boxed/sold are poor quality.  High number, but I am used to it.

I was not in anyway indicating that the vendor played any role except bing the middleman and having a working email address. The point was this; if you want to claim luxury product status, and don’t perform luxury product quality, you are going to piss off customers unless you are using a mediocre product price model.

The market rights most imbalances eventually. That is if the customers or the business last long enough.
