Broncos remain defeated- at least in my book. At least they scored some points. Gonna be a long season.

Washington put up a surprisingly good fight. The Eagles are strong- I expected better from them.

Alright let's get crazy.

Jets over the Eagles because that would be the most Jets thing to do.

Patriots over the Raiders because BB's job is at stake.

Bears should beat a weakened Minnesota team in Chicago.  Jefferson out is a big deal for Minnesota.

Chargers are hard to predict and can lose to or beat anyone, maybe this week against Dallas.  Dallas may look at Chargers as an easy walk but they'd better be ready to play.

Who's responsible for the Ken Gargett Fan Club in the Tipping comp? :rotfl:

Washington could so easily have had that. so frustrating.

what is really frustrating is that, okay early days, we might finally have found a half decent QB and we are going to kill him before we know. for the team that gave us the glorious hogs, this O line is an absolute disgrace (sure, young QB brings some on himself). he is on track to break the 'being sacked' record by about 20 plus - more than one a game.

Didn't expect the Skins (oops, the Commodes), to put up this much of a fight. It was encouraging to see. I was at my local B&M watching (unfortunately I live in cowturd country, you know..."Murica's team") the game. When that last td was scored, even the cowturd fans were cheering. Went to OT, and fox (damn you fox) cut to the cowturds  game. Didn't even get to see the OT.

if you had, you would have seen a terrible refs' call when terry M pulled in a great catch to give us a new set of downs pretty much in field goal range for the win (granted, no guarantee our bloke would hit the barn door from 20 yards). instead, ruled out and even though clearly in, they refused to overturn it. so the iggles got their FG. cruel.

Honesty: Trade Russ or no?

🤣 Haha. Fat chance, nobody else wanted him when George Patton got Fleeced by the Seahawks and he simply isn't worth the contract that he signed either. The Broncos would have to pay a huge portion of his salary over the next couple years to facilitate even a swap of late round picks. I just don't understand how George Patton still has a job. Wilson is passed his prime, a prime that was grossly overexaggerated by the team the Seahawks put around him. The Broncos made their bed and now they get to lay in it. Russel is the QB this year and almost certainly next year as well. They just don't have the draft capital (given up in the trade) or financial capital to move in another direction.

This is one thing Giants and Commie fans can share in this year. Our O-line is absolutely terrible. Despite using first round picks on O Linemen every year for the last 3 years. I think you guys are on a slightly higher sacks per game pace, but not by much. We're both on pace to smash the old record. The Giants gave up 11 sacks against the Seahawks and Daniel Jones couldn't finish last weeks game against the Dolphins after absorbing 6 sacks in less than 3 quarters. Like Howell, Jones needs to throw the ball away quicker and he could avoid some of the sacks, but the QB isn't the main problem in either situation.

I didn't want to talk about the elephant in the room but how good are the 49ers?

A couple upset predictions for this week:

1. I can see Seattle beating Cincy in Cincy. Burrow looked back to form last week, but was it a mirage? Until I see some week strung together I'm still skeptical on em.

2. I could also see the Jets beating the Eagles too. Philly has been playing with fire a couple weeks this year, and I could see them dropping this seemingly easy win game.

3. Extra pick, I think Washington beats the Falcons in ATL too. I think Howell has shown some promise this year....if he can avoid the stupid sacks and Ridder throws a couple picks. Watch out.

I think that he needs to go.  Don’t get me wrong, it is far from all his fault.  But, he is nothing like the RW from years ago…he can’t just make magic happen by being out there like he used to in Seattle.
