Buffalo is powerhouse this year. KC looks of the same caliber as last year. I'm going with the bills to win it all though just for a change in flavor. They've havent been this good since the Jim Kelly years

The Bills were 3rd worst in turnovers and the worst in red zone turnovers in 2022. They beat a .500 Miami Dolphins team in their 1st home playoff game by 3 points and the Dolphins started a 3rd string QB. Their final playoff game (at home) they were only able to put up 10 points. Yes, they will have all the splash 50 yard plays but when they get in the red zone they stall. How did they fix all those problems?

I predict that @Chas.Alpha's Monte As are as safe as being in Fort Knox. I had hope last year...won't make that mistake again.

Meanwhile, in Bears town, Sunday's game will be a huge tell for both the Bears and the Packers.  Which quarterback will progress into an NFL caliber passer this year?  So far, Fields has not shown me that he has the throwing skill and anticipation that's required at this level.  I hope I'm wrong.  If Jordan Love looks like a quality NFL quarterback on Sunday, I may just dig a hole in the back yard and crawl into it.

KC will again dominate The League. The Bills will be 500 for the season. Look for the Jets to win 14 games.

Bro, This is a thread for your "Bold" Predictions. This is my Bold Prediction. I think what they had to work on is trivial and they got it in the off season. I watched their camp. So that is my "Bold" prediction. You a Pats fan?

Joe Burrow takes the Bengals to the promised land after getting paid the biggest contract in NFL history. As he goes to leave the field he lights up a Cohiba Behike and declares Cuban cigars are too expensive. Seeing this said, Cuba gets their shit together, boosts production and slashes prices.

just so i understand, you are going for the bills to win the lot because they are as good as the kelly years. when they got thumped every time they went near a superbowl. okay they got close v NY i think, but thumped in the rest. they are going to need to be seriously better than that team. and they may well be, but i do wonder.

Checking in from Packers Town! How's that hole coming along? :hole:

There is an energy with the Lions. It started later last year and is strong. I predict they will be in the NFC Championship.

I think the pack takes the NFC North by two games over the Lions. I think Fields gets benched midway through the season and Cousins gets traded midseason.

I'd love to believe that, but Love's first year starting cannot be that easy, and it won't be. Neither was Rodgers' - he threw for a lot of yards and TDs but still had bumps in the road. The only 2 differences between this and Rodgers' first year I think is that Love has far less experience in his receiving corps....and a much better defense/O-line.  The latter will help win some games, but the former will create some tough losses and learning opportunities.  I will wait for the end of the year to make any big prognostications for Jordan Love and the Packers going forward. (This was the Bears, after all. Pretty sure Rodgers just transferred his ownership share of the Bears to Love upon leaving GB), but it was a hell of a good start for JL. I still think it's gonna be a 9-8 or 10-7 season, maybe sneak out a wild card spot. But I wouldn't be worried if its 8-9 or even 7-10.

The Lions, meanwhile - they play a great, fun brand of football where they throw everything but the kitchen sink at you, and they have been in the doldrums as a franchise long enough, I do think they take the division this season.  That said, I don't think they go deep in the playoffs because they lack that stand-up QB to take them deep (Goff is a game manager, not a big game QB, to my mind).

The Bears are a tear-down candidate at this point - do it now and or risk wasting Fields' potential, and it may already be too late.

The Vikings :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Cousins with his usual bajillion yards thrown but no win. Now we'll see how "good" that team actually is without their 1-score horseshoe wins.

The real team to cheer for is the Jets......until Rodgers gets to 65% of his team's offensive snaps. After that, they can go in the can and flame out in standard NYJ fashion. We want that 1st round pick.

I want to believe that they'll take the division.....but my lifetime of fandom has me skeptical. Our O-line is one of the best in football so that could definitely be a huge plus in our favor, but thats only if we stay healthy.  Detroit has been missing a parade for quite sometime. We'll party if we win a freaking playoff game....if the gods grace us with a superbowl the city will shut down for that entire week.

it took me a while to get over the end of last season (when we lost to the Lions to crash out of the playoffs)......but I'd honestly be happy for the Lions if they went on a playoff run this year. That town has deserved better for a long time.

....just this season though. LOL

hey, the glorious Washington 'whatever they are this week' has traditionally been the only side stupid enough to trade for someone like cousins (even after we got rid of him). those days are over. what team is going to want to pay a fortune to open the door to disappointment like that?

Probably not. Rob asked for was bold predictions. I think they could be though, need to see how they get through the season a bit more. They're looking pretty good against Aaron Rodgers and the boys so far tonight. KC first loss is also a good sign that this season will not mirror lasts.

Jets go 16-1, losing only to the Texans, and go to the Super Bowl losing against the 49ers.

They better win 16 in a row!
