8 day trip for five days travelling is getting really boring.

anyway, in the Doha airport for the last leg (before the train ride then the bus ride to get home) and Doha to Brizzy is only 14 and a half hours. still, i'm  better off than the dill who caught the hotel shuttle to the airport (i thought he was leaving it very narrow for his flight). we get off and he goes, 'oh dear, i left all my bags behind'. seriously? there is you and there are bags. that is it. well, that is one bloke who won't be catching his flight.

anyway, thought i'd see about a few duty free cigars. went into the private room, all sealed, you can't just walk in, they have to let you in (some bloke in there buying Gurkhas).

i ask what they have in Cubans.

nothing sir.

you don't sell Cubans?

yes sir, there just are none available.

not one?

not one.

not doubt this has been covered in more depth elsewhere but seriously, not a single Cuban stick.

Was in Dubai intl a week ago, an elderly Chinese lady scooped up all Cubans in one sweep just in front of me: But a meagre catch I’d say, a single box of Monte 4 and a rack of whatever type cigarillos. As long as it’s Cuban it can be sold with a profit back home
