Popular Post HuffnPuffff Posted August 25, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 25, 2023 Kudos to Hong Long airport for opening an outdoor smoking lounge after security. Where else has a decent place to smoke after security? I know Dubai has a nice indoor cigar lounge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 8
Chucko8 Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 They close it off when there is a lightening warning in the area.
BrightonCorgi Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 ZRH has a few boxed in smoking areas that are quite nice within the terminals.
El Hoze Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Miami has a TGI Fridays that is zoned off with a semi-open roof that you can smoke in. Not exactly the lap of luxury and tons of characters smoking cigarettes but anywhere you can have a drink at the bar and smoke a cigar while you wait for your plane gets my strong vote. 3 1
Popular Post Drguano Posted August 25, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 25, 2023 FCO in Rome has smoking areas modeled after Russian courtrooms… 2 10
MagicalBikeRide Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Dublin has an outdoor smoking area that is not completely miserable. Can have a beer and cigar while you wait for the plane. 1 3
JohnnyO Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Nassau, Bahamas has two. A general outside seating area with lots of sun and a cigar bar inside under AC and lots of Guiness Foreign Extra Stout on hand. This is for international flights only. John 2 1
BrightonCorgi Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 I've never wanted to smoke a cigar before boarding a plane and those who would've sat next to me silently thanked me. 4
amberleaf Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Punta Cana has a nice garden next to the departure gates where you can sit and smoke while watching the planes.
ChangBang Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 I found there's a bunch as long as you have lounge access usually priority pass does it for me. Lets see Punta Cana has a nice outdoor area that overlooks the runway and has a pool! I just went through LPA and ACE that had dedicated outdoor areas with couches and loungers. CDG in the international terminal had a nice outdoor area but I haven't been in a while now. 21 hours ago, BrightonCorgi said: I've never wanted to smoke a cigar before boarding a plane and those who would've sat next to me silently thanked me. This is why I really wouldn't want to smoke a cigar. Maybe if I knew the flight is empty or something I would consider it. 2
fokker4me Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 EWR (Newark) used to have an indoor cigar lounge, bit no longer. I used. It one time before a flight but didn't after based on what i smelled. Like on the aircraft.
Mr. Japan Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Doha Airport ( Qatar ) has an inside cigar smoking lounge .

The one inside Qatar's "Al Safwa" 1st class lounge at DOH is spectacular, exceeding even the one at Lufthansa's 1st class "Terminal" lounge at FRA, and you can rinse off afterwards in one of their complimentary hot tubs ... food's great too.

This smoking area is for American flights only as its between D34 and D36. I suppose if you had a flight in gate E you could walk over as they connect. But its a walk. Also the semi open roof is useless in a downpour as everything gets soaked and they close that part of the restaurant.
rondogg Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Palm springs & Singapore ! In doors - Tel Aviv, Lebanon, Dubai, Doha come to mind
