I love that RP "thinks" it's the best cigar he's ever made :rotfl:

Did you and Hamlet make your plans for the $100 nudie yet? Maybe throw in an exciting NFT with it or a thick colored footband?

That looks like a tube of mascara disguised as a cigar.

Limited to 900 cigars.... a day. So one day's production will be good for the next 5 years worth of demand? :lol3:

There is also a strong demand for smoking crack.

Have we talked about the Oliva $300 cigar yet?

What one is this? 300$? Dang.

But 100 for a RP is nuts too.

These will end up on Cigar Bid just like Gurkha HMR's at a severe discount in no time.  NC makers should be looking to undercut/provide value alternatives to Habanos' insane price markups.  NOT, trying to raise their prices alongside.  The long game should be to win over CC smokers, not turn a quick profit for a quarter or two.  The chatter on various boards and forums are chock full of threads on what NC's to try now that CC's are too costly and harder to find than ever.  RP does have enough lines to cater to many price points, so they could technically have a halo product.  At $100+/stick. I'm NEVER thinking of NC.  The best, expensive NC I've smoked and enjoy is the Padron 50th humidor release cigars which go for $50-$75USD.

"People were looking for something higher end" what's the end of higher end? a $200 cigar, $300 cigar? seems like the extra money is going towards the fancy packaging, marketing and to people who thinks the more expensive the better, anyhow if many people are willing to pay then why not?. Personally, I rather a good CC over a perfect NC and the high price tag will defiantly make me stick to Cubans.

Rocky should just stick to doing what made him successful. Make a good cigar at a reasonable price. Gurkha already did this nonsense years ago. They are the biggest farce in the NC cigar industry.

He has also given his name to a lot of dog rockets--and damaged his reputation doing so.

Agree with your first part. As to his reputation, I cannot speak to nor judge.
