Popular Post Tunkat92 Posted August 4, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 4, 2023 Initial Thoughts: The wrapper has a beautiful shade and is middle ground in every aspect. A touch of oil, a little bit of tooth. Its a little thicker and more robust than normal cuban wrappers. I decided to try a punch cut and the cold draw had a slight wood taste with a touch of resistance. 1/3: Floral, woodsy with a touch of cream. Occasionally I get a bright note, I almost want to say citrus but I can’t quite put a finger on it. The smoke is light bodied but still satisfying. 2/3: The profile is definitely getting more cedary but the floral and cream notes are still there. I am getting a touch of cinnamon on the profile and there a slight sweetness that is rounding out everything. 3/3: The cedar note is getting a touch stronger but a nice cinnamon/nutmeg profile is coming through on the retro. I still get an occasional bright/ citrusy note Final Thoughts: Very pleasant all around cigar. The body is a touch light for me but all together it works for this cigar. 5
