Something curious I have to report about the La Gloria Cubana Turquinos.

I wanted to buy this novelty in Havana, Cuba. In mid-June 2023 I was in Havana shooting the documentary "In the heart of Havana: Historic Habanos Manufactories" (premiere is 01.08.23). But neither in the Partagas Casa del Habano nor in the Cohiba Atmosphere in the Kempinski Hotel you could buy it. In both outlets I got the almost identical information: "We have it in stock, but the price is still unknown". I replied that the price was very well known, as it had already been mentioned at the Habanos Festival. "Yes, but we do not yet have confirmation of what the price will be," was the reply.

At first I suspected that the heat and the very high humidity had clouded my brain, because this answer came somehow confused in my brain. Strange experience, but that's Cuba. 🇨🇺 

What still amazes me: now, a few weeks after my stay in Havana, the cigar has arrived in Switzerland and it is available from August 8 in the Casas and from August 15 at the. Specialists available. 😅

I bought two boxes at Partagas in Feb so they're talking nonsense. Since April there are around 20-30 boxes sitting up on the shelf at Cohiba Atmosphere incorrectly marked $600 and they won't sell them. Palco got a delivery of about 50 boxes in Feb also. None anywhere else since then. Wide Edmundo is also in very few if any places. Haven't seen any more RA 3 either actually.
