My habits have changed quite a bit over the past few years. Partly due to costs and partly due to work reasons. I always have the internal struggle with myself of the "save as many as you can, since they're so damn expensive nowadays!" vs. "You can't take any of these with you and life is short...enjoy it!" From week to week, it changes based on which side seems to make more sense. Haha!

I see two groups already forming: one or two a week and one or two a day.

My average is 2. Though I go weeks without any then smash 3 or 4 on a weekend with the boys.

I usually smoke at least one cigar every day when I am home, sometimes 2-3. Every once in a while I won’t for whatever reason. Right now I am in temporary retirement mode so it is rare I don’t have a

How many of you are smoking exclusively outside, versus a mix of outdoor and enclosed space, or exclusively inside?

When at home, I only smoke outside, nothing beats kicking back on a swing with a stick in hand.

Weeknights 2, usually the 2nd being small like a PC.

Weekends 3-4, 1-2 in the morning, 1-2 in the evening. I've been trying to conserve and save Cubans for the weekend but it doesn't always work.

All of this is weather dependent as I smoke 95% of the time out on my deck.

I've cut down to about 3 a day! 🤣

Two a day is my sweet spot this past month. One NC and one CC. I will often go like for like in vitola.

Smoking a Nica Libre 25th Anniversary boxed Piramide at the moment. Will follow up later with a Monte 2.

Recently I'm in the 2-3 a day category. One in morning, one in the afternoon, and maybe even one at night. It has rained so much in the UK that one feels like one has to max out. I think though that I don't get the most out of cigars at such a pace and need a few days off or I end up not tasting much.

I barely smoke much in the winter. Spring onwards I'm around 6-8 per week, throw in a BBQ with mates and I might have 2-3 in a day.

That's why I slowed down too.

6 per month. The number is rising as the collection diversifies.

My cigar smoking is mainly outside, and so I'm also on the Northern Hemisphere cycles of May to September and October to April.  During the first, warm cycle I average 1 a week but will sometimes have one on back to back days, making it 2 on those weeks. During the colder cycle, it's typically 1 to 2 a month.

2 a week in summer. 1 a week in winter. My supplies should last at least 20 years at this rate - and yet I buy. Lol.

It never stopped raining in Britain. Ever. This is meant to be “cigar season” but it just rains all the time. I won’t smoke indoors.

It's a must to have cover in the UK!

I currently average ~ 14 cigars per week. The SoCal climate is almost always favorable if my time and budget permits. My average Non-Cuban cigar: Cuban cigar ratio is ~ 3:1.
