Popular Post Magnum Dongle Posted July 18, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 18, 2023 My first review post on here, so any feedback is welcome. This is my first Montecristo ever, and it did not let down. The thing that I think stuck out most to me was how smooth the draw was compared to other cuban cigars I have tried (could be they are young or just a tight cigar). I am on vacation so I can't look up the box date right now but I know this stick isn't that old (under a year since I've gotten it and wasn't advertised as aged). Anyways, the draw was great, and I got notes of cedar, earthiness, coffee and a slight hint of vanilla along with what I think is that Cuban twang. I loved the entire smoke, and actually ordered some Monte No. 3s to try some more! Have a great week B/SOTL! 5
Fireball Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 Good review. I have read a bunch but am always a little intimidated to write one. I have seen a lot of reviews where they like to describe the cigar in thirds- 1st third, 2nd, 3rd. I personally have a hard time getting to thirds. For me I can usually tell a difference between first half and second half. But that’s as far as I can go. Montes are where it’s at for my money. Keep up with the reviews.

I've seen the same and maybe with time I can tell more distinct notes during different thirds. But for now I just wanna contribute and post what I taste! Excited for the box I have coming now! 1
Pokerjake88 Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 The Monte 4 is a classic. Love all the Montes with the Open series as my favorite.
